Emma Gorton

Emma Gorton is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with clinical endorsement (to reflect specialist training). Working in public, private and university settings has provided Emma with experience supporting a wide range of people with varied mental health concerns. Having her own children ignited a passion in Emma to provide support during the vulnerable perinatal period. With a warm, compassionate, accepting approach, Emma works collaboratively with individuals to support mental health throughout the perinatal journey. Utilising Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and psychoeducation, Emma tailors her approach to suit the needs of each person when working towards their goals in therapy. Emma has completed perinatal specific training with the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE).
